I have a few major influences in my life... some more prominent than others but lets start with these two:
The people that brought me into this world and made me the person I am today. I owe them so much and they are the best parents a person could ask for! I remember once I enrolled in an advertising course at uni, and they had to pay $1000 upfront. I later decided that I didnt want to do that course and instead wanted to be a teacher. I was so scared to tell them about it, but this is the response I got when I finally worked up the courage: "thats alright darl, you need to do what you want to do." Greatest people in the world!
The next big inspiration in my life is my darling sister. She is the most dedicated sister/daughter/mother/wife ever and has recently been doing it tough with her man being away training to be a policeman. Yet still she finds time to express herself through both her craft and her blog and I simply do not know how she does it!
My baby cousin (Chloe) is also a huge part of my life... she is the one cousin that I could tell anything to and she and I have always been extremely close (apart for very early childhood when she used to follow me around everywhere and I just wanted her to go away! haha) She is just a gorgeous person.
The baby brother who always fixes my computer and just generally helps me do stuff... love you.
Moving on, how could I forget the rock in my life (pardon the pun :)...Rocket. He is always there for me, through thick and thin... when I'm happy, when I'm grumpy, he sits there and chats to me while I make tea and is ALWAYS so happy... its actually a bit strange how happy he is! haha He has a 'she'll be right' attitude to everything (which is not always the best thing) but something that I love about him! In fact, I just LOVE HIM all together!
And then there are these gorgeous people:

They are best friends a girl could ask for and always support me in everything I do! (even if one is half way across the globe). The fantastic times along with the not so fantastic times that we have shared together have shaped our friendship to what it is today: unbreakable. I just LOVE everything about these people, how Moot is so clumsy (in a good way gorgeous) how Flora will always make time for you no matter what, how Oogs still manages to keep in touch even though she is in Sweden, how Ming comes out with the winner costume at every cock bash (cocktail party) etc... I could go on forever!
I can confidently say that you all mean the world to me!
So how about that creative inspiration? This man is definitely up there:
Salvador Dali... how could he not be? The man is a genius!!!
Some more include Michelangelo - I am not exaggerating when I say that I sat in the Sistene Chapel for over an hour just thinking about how he laid on his back and painted the ceiling.
Monet, Picasso, Van Gogh, Andy Warhol, Brett White, William Blake... it could go on forever.
I also have a huge love for history and I think that a lot of inspiration for the general things that I do in life comes from historical events. Now let's see if I can get my love of history across to all those kids in school!
